I am a 37-year old french woman who would like to start an arts & crafts business in the Paris (france, not Texas ... joke) area and for various reasons, I would like to do that in partnership with a US company (cheaper, more innnovative products) ; would you happen to know a distributer, wholesaler or manufacturer in the arts & crafts industry in the US who offers franchise opportunities or more generally speaking would be interested in starting a business in Europe ? You don't have to answer me if you don't have the time, but it would really help as from abroad it is not easy to find out who the big players are on the american market (I only know of Michaels and Hobby Lobby - do you know other big arts & crafts chain ?). decopauging a painted wood frame
Dear Mary, I would like to paint an unfinished wood frame and cut flowers out of an extra valance I have that matches my daughters comforter. I wanted to put these fabric cut outs on the frame and then bring it to a glass store and have a mirror put into the frame. I know you can decopauge on glass, although I have never done it, but I don't know if it can be done on wood and if so, how do I do it and what products do I need? Thank you in advance for your help.

HELP!!!
I am tring to find suncatchers, the ones that are plastic that you stain yourself. They are very popular, but no one carries any for any other holiday except christmas. I am looking for some for valentines day and easter. I have been on the internet for days looking for someone, anyone who carries these products. The local stores here in Albuquerque carry them but not for a specific holiday. Does anyone know where I can order these items. looking for an old pattern
Mary, Some twenty years ago, while recouping fro a broken leg I took macrame. After experimenting with several smaller projects I found a pattern for a baby swing which you could hang in a doorway. It was a beautiful piece and was used for years. I made several of them for family and friends. Now my children are having children and I cannot for the life of me find the pattern for this swing. I've been in just about every craft store from Maine to Florida. Not only am I not able to find this pattern, but I've found that many places have young kids working and when you ask about macrame all you get is a blank stare. I'd give anything to be able to make these swings for my grandkids. Can you help?? Fred
